Quality in No Time: That’s What Our Pizza Boxes Delivered to Jess!

Putting up your game is never easy when it comes to delivering quality within a limited time frame. However, the challenges help you explore new paths instead of failing on previous ones. Similar was the case with OXO Packaging and Jess (a pizza brand owner). To meet the urgent requirements of pizza boxes, Jess availed of our rush order facilities with specific quality requirements.

Matching Quality Requirements within a Limited Timeframe

Creating and printing robust boxes that hold pizzas is nearly impossible when downtime is haunting you. Jess was clear: “I need boxes within a week. I CAN’T AFFORD DELAYS. And please make sure your boxes don’t drop my pizzas.” From designing to production, the process for creating regular pizza boxes takes around 7 days.

How OXO Packaging Turned Obstacles into Opportunities?

If we had cut any step to ensure quick production, the quality compromise would’ve been evident. To resolve this problem, we suggested Jess to opt for single-color printing, which reduced much of the printing time. The stock we chose was robust double-walled corrugated sheets (of course, quality was required to hold the weight of pizzas).

Freeing up our available die-cutting machines, we prioritized cutting, creasing, and printing of Jess’s pizza boxes. Finally, clamshell corrugated boxes for pizzas were created, with production time dropped to 4 days. However, quality checking and delivery, all within 3 days, was another problem.

We engaged more fellows so that 2 days of quality checking work could be done within a few hours before shipping. And special instructions to shipping services with regular follow-ups on the order status ensured the timely delivery.

Jess’s Feedback!

Successfully delivering the pizza boxes in the specified duration wasn’t enough. Our team was waiting for Jess’s feedback on the order. After two days of receiving boxes, Jess emailed:
